On July 17, 1967, Jacksonville Journal photographer Rocco Morabito captured the iconic "Kiss of Life" photo.
While returning from an assignment, he saw linemen working on utility poles. Suddenly, Randall Champion, who had accidentally touched a live wire, slumped unconscious. Morabito radioed for an ambulance and started taking pictures. J.D. Thompson, Champion's colleague, climbed the pole and performed mouth-to-mouth resuscitation, saving Champion's life.
The powerful image won Morabito a Pulitzer Prize in 1968.

Donald Trump is a controversial figure who has been the subject of numerous iconic photographs throughout his career. Many hate him. And yes, he can be rude and say things that are better kept to himself, but he is a strong and inspirational character, and for his strength I've alway admired him.
On August 24, 2023, Donald Trump turned himself in to authorities in Atlanta, Georgia, due to charges related to alleged election interference. This marked the first time a booking photo was taken of a former U.S. president.
His campaign quickly capitalized on the image for fundraising, and it rapidly spread across social media.
On July 13th 2024, at a political rally in Pennsylvania there was an assassination attempt on Donald Trump's life. All this happened while being aired live on TV. This news story both shocked me and greatly inspired me.
I feel priviledged to have been there to view and experience such a big moment in history.
Trump demonstrated a tremendous strength of character during this ordeal. The images I saw on the news that day were jaw-dropping. I couldn't belive it. It was amazing. It seemed like something out of a Hollywood movie.
No matter how much you love him or hate him, you have to give it to him - He is a fighter and I admire his confidence.
They have tried all sorts against him. They've gone to great lengths to tarnish his reputation and character.
They've attempted to arrest him, imprison him, and even produced a negative Hollywood movie about him right before the election (a rubbish movie that got bad reviews).
Despite their efforts to eliminate him, he emerged stronger, turning all the negativity to his advantage, and ultimately came out on top.
Here's a photo that everyone should recognize. It's definitely one of the most iconic in history and a beautiful one. On February 7, 1984, astronaut Bruce McCandless II became the first person to conduct an untethered spacewalk. Equipped with the Manned Maneuvering Unit (MMU), a nitrogen-powered, hand-operated backpack, McCandless drifted freely from the Space Shuttle Challenger. This groundbreaking achievement enabled him to maneuver independently in space, a notable advancement from previous tethered spacewalks.
The MMU was created to allow astronauts to undertake various tasks outside their spacecraft, such as retrieving satellites and performing space construction. It utilized 24 nitrogen thrusters and hand controllers for precise navigation.
